When I went to my local Target Friday morning, I actually saw multiple people buying The Anthology vinyl, but tbh I didn't have to work to snatch up a tour book. It's such a niche product for Swifties, and if we're being honest, won't hold much interest for those that didn't attend Eras. And that's completely fine, because how many tour books have had enough demand to even be available at Target to begin with? On my way back into town that afternoon, I stopped back at Target for coffee and of course took a peak, and the vinyls were gone. She was never going to sell as many tour books, but it's clear people are still interested in her actual product, which is the music. 5M attended Eras in the US, though. 1

Mellark Posted yesterday at 07:42 AM Posted yesterday at 07:42 AM I think people were hunting more for the vinyl than the book.
campelo Posted yesterday at 07:48 AM Posted yesterday at 07:48 AM They can easily send these products overseas to sell, it won't be a loss for sure
mael Posted yesterday at 07:48 AM Posted yesterday at 07:48 AM Oh we're getting a teensy weensy bit brave I see... 2
BnPac Posted yesterday at 08:08 AM Posted yesterday at 08:08 AM Meh... She sells albums. Plus her fans will eventually buy all of those. They're dedicated as hell.
Arrows Posted yesterday at 08:54 AM Posted yesterday at 08:54 AM The top selling book of last year sold 1.3 million copies, of course 2 million Eras Tour copies was way too much 1
Slap Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago It's nothing special like a biopic or something that's going to shift the culture. It's basically merch… so who cares.

emailmyhearts Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Because the book was never the hot, limited item, the vinyl was. Which was gone within the first few minutes of opening by the way. It's clear her and her team didn't press 2M copies hoping it'll all sell out within the first day but just because it didn't sell out in Philadelphia doesn't mean it's not going to be bigger than if any other pop girl released a tour book. And by the way the tour book isn't anything new for Taylor either, she's been doing it for every single tour, just never on this big of a scale. 5

jeffreyy Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago People clearly are desperate to see Taylor's downfall
Marla Singer Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago How many trees were chopped down to make 2 million books? She really hates the climate like one of her exes. 1 1
JorgeM Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Outside Harry Potter not a single book have sell even close to 2 M in the first weekend. Nobody expected they to sold out the stock of the book dummy. But don't worry if other artist copy her and release a book (…Beyoncé) they will sell 1/20 of Taylor like what happened with the tour films Edited 13 hours ago by JorgeM Mistake 2
burninredhot Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago So this thread is about how Taylor is not able to sell 2 million books in a single day? Wow what a flop. Clearly the rumoured Beyonce art book is coming to outsell this. Right @Burn ? 4

Don't artists usually sell their tour books during the actual shows?
