Popboi. Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM Posted yesterday at 12:48 AM There's 2 million books, more stock than the sales of the biggest book of 2023, of course it wasn't selling out in a day 1

americanlife Posted yesterday at 12:54 AM Posted yesterday at 12:54 AM This article is straight up false information. I was one of the swifties in line to get the book and CD. I didn't want the vinyl. There was well over 100 people in line and nearly everyone in the store at 6 am went there solely for the Taylor Swift stuff. Otherwise, there was barely anyone in the store that was not there for Taylor. The swifties got their items and left. So clearly this tactic from target worked. Target wanted people in the store at 6 am. It worked. Many stores got hundreds of the book and many stores sold out of the vinyl very quickly, and now the vinyl is sold out online. So yes, this launch was a big draw. 6 1

Cesar Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM time to send the books to TJ Maxx / Marshalls, it'll sell better in the clearance area there! 1

So yes, this launch was a big draw. I don't doubt that was your experience. It definitely is sold out at some stores as it says in the article "While some suburban Target stores experienced a rush of Swift fans...". But there are stores that have been left with a large amount of stock. For example apart from the Philadelphia one here is a different store: I guess it's just more in demand in certain areas than others. Maybe they didn't get the distribution per store right as some didn't receive enough and others received too much. 2
perfectillusion204 Posted yesterday at 01:13 AM Posted yesterday at 01:13 AM Well at least the $60 vinyl sold out everywhere, something she's always good at- selling music! You can't always perform great in everything, especially when it's not your area of expertise. 2
Solaria Posted yesterday at 01:15 AM Posted yesterday at 01:15 AM And y'all said I was crazy when I said her career is in shambles. If I was a Swiftie I'd be conducting a postmortem right now or whatever that lyric on The Manuscript is omg 3 1

By the Water Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM Taylor's book not selling in Philadelphia???? She's so over! Her next album will struggle to outchart Artpop for sure 2
Jude Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM Posted yesterday at 01:52 AM Trolling aside, how are the sales so far compared to Britney's?
