lol I love BOSS so much and I've always thought that part was referring to Drake, who was rumored to have never been liked by Jay. Some folks thought it had something to do with Drake being too much of a stan of Beyoncé's, bordering on obsession. He was like that with a lot of black female celebrities in his early years. I think it moreso had to do with business dealings, which is implied in Boss.

He can't do that since Kendrick could potentially pull out the receipts. And clearly Aubrey can't risk that (especially post-Adidon).

Rumor has it that Kendrick was this close of pulling them out last time and all UMG and all their labels had to step in to mediate the beef. This is such a sucidial move for Drake (lol) to sue his own protector.
