She's been making sloppy albums for the past 5 years compared to the immaculate sonic landscape of her first 4 albums it's be difficult for fans. I'd much rather read an actual fan's opinion with a brain than the constant lapdog energy from so many "stans". I have checked in for all of her albums since NFR and have been disappointed but always find a couple songs I love OT: When the hell does this come out Except the majority of her her fan base, music critics, and music culture in general disagrees with you. Oh and £uck off. Edited March 30 by Bad_vocal_technique 4 5

And even BB is half incredible. It just has some weaker tracks like Violets for Roses and Beautiful + songs we already had. But it's a strong album overall.

stjosephprey4us Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Praying she announces something soon so the discourse about her past albums for the millionth time can stop

Oh and £uck off. wtf is the passive aggressive bs for. Are you ok? Please show me where her fanbase or critics agree that her post NFR stuff is better than her first albums? I just googled and there wasn't a single list where BTD and UV weren't in the top 3 4 1

It's not my fault you somehow missed years of music culture discussions and literature. Just keep your little-too-distant-from-reality opinion to yourself if you have no idea what you're talking about.

I guess your ability to draw conclusions may also be tarnished if this is how it operates. Edited March 30 by Bad_vocal_technique

Rico Shameless v2 Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) If you hate Lana music for FIVE straight albums, maybe don't enter spaces of conversation that still enjoy her releases? Doesn't make sense. I mean yeah it's a forum, it's your right and discourse is cute but like why do you even want that? A pick me type of situation. Attention seeking. And if you're gonna argue about that please go to Base. This being at the top of Music News everyday for some fans from 2012 complaining is irking my nerves that we might actually have news. It's insanely off topic. thank you Edited March 30 by Rico Shameless v2 2 10
Bad_vocal_technique Posted March 30 Posted March 30 It's unfortunate, but more evident than ever, that as Lana Del Rey's audience grows with the increasing popularity of her more accessible work, a wave of ignorant and regressive opinions has infiltrated rhetorical discourse. her career really is for the books. 1 1 1
Shoful Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I've legit been a fan since 2013 far before her acclaim. This thread is full of nonsense. I did the research and nothing I found backs your claims
Shoful Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Blue Bannisters is legit YouTube rips of demos Chemtrails has a song that uses the same instrumental as a song from NFR and a Lorde song

ahauntingnearu Posted March 30 Posted March 30 @Bad_vocal_technique you reaaaaally need to chill bby. Everything's good! 2
duybeeGAshantiGA Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) Hmmm wtf is happening? Seriously the Lana base is one of the messiest bases ever like people are always fighting. And by fighting I always feel like we seriously hate each other here. The energy is just... dark. When members of other bases fight it feels less tense IDK... Her last album was her best or at least second best album. So chill. Lana has never fully disappointed me. She always came thru and claimed me back so I have faith in her. She has missteps sometimes but she always re-corrects herself right after. We stan the most talented female songwriter-singer of this generation there is nothing to worry about. Seriously she is like this gen's Joni Mitchell / Stevie Nicks. Edited March 30 by duybeeGAshantiGA 2
