Ivan_brit Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Levitating & Dont Start Now still hurts it got #2 peak Avril Lavigne Complicated, Bad Romance & Since You Been Gone 2
LittleStarmen Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago TikTok was def bigger than Bad Romance back then. It was keshas first song/hit akin to just dance/poker face 2
Erreur2 La Nature Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Billboard worked really hard to get Levitating blocked 3 1

Princess Aurora Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) You Need To Calm Down and Old Town Road. Lil Nas X really blocked everybody.... Edited 2 hours ago by Princess Aurora
Roberto Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Die with a smile, that was so tragic but something even more tragic and iconic was Levitating. 1

Distantconstellation Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Tiktok was huge all over the world and was selling a lot more. Just like how all yall always talk about streaming now and that we should focus on sales well back then it was almost all about sales and Kesha was outselling Bad Romance. I remember even a lot of the other stan bases (Britney, xtina, Beyonce) buying tiktok and even her album just to block and piss of the gaga fans.

Bad Romance was a monster smash and was even more supported for free than Kesha's song was. In today's charts BR would've knocked down Kesha. It's so surreal that we are here now. It brings me back to when I would exclaim "but imagine if Britney debuted in the streaming era!!!!!" OT: Definitely Bad Romance getting blocked Tik Tok. Instantly came to mind.
naval23 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Pon De Replay getting blocked by Mariah's "We Belong Together" despite being #1 in sales was tragique 1

Jeremiah Posted 30 minutes ago Posted 30 minutes ago Blackout before Billboard got out of their way to make a last minute rule change applicable the same damn week.

John Slayne Posted 23 minutes ago Posted 23 minutes ago i'm shocked Espresso never reached the top in the us and obviously DWAS now falls under this category too Bad Romance is a Diamond single, idk who are OGHs trying to gaslight saying it wasn't a competitive hit

Dula Peep Posted 16 minutes ago Posted 16 minutes ago Since U Been Gone, Levitating and Bad Romance are the trinity for me
LustSpell Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago 2 hours ago, Sailor Moon said: ariana's problem .. i remember it missing #1 being a few points short against fancy It wasn't even a few. It was 0.3% at its closest between All of Me, Fancy and Problem Possibly one of the most competitive weeks in history 1

TT was the PERFECT song to purchase for NYE, then the album release and radio airplay was high alongside those things.
