She now claims the fastest song in Spotify history to reach a billion streams. Her haters want her to lose so badly, but she's literally smashing in 2024 with DWAS. 

Regardless of the #1 or #2 spot, the song is huge and will go down as one of the biggest hits of all time and it might also compete with Poker Face & Bad Romance for Gaga's biggest song in the future, when all is said and done.

Discounts in 2010 are completely different than discounts in 2024 since digital sales were the main factor back then so discounting a song meant a big deal. These days it can help with just a couple points on the Hot 100 if you have a big fanbase.

He can still still get a 20th week at #1 the first week of January if there isn't a new smash by then (DWAS is already predicted to be lower than A Bar Song, the Gracie song still needs a lot of airplay and A Bar Song will get a massive boost after the year-end countdowns.)
