To the haters: Taylor can do whatever she wants. No one should ever discourage someone from hard work and achieving their dreams. We should always encourage and uplift each other to be our best.

 

With that said, I don't think Adele meant to shade.

Not ppl in here thinking artists are only working when they're on stage 

 

Their workdays are not exclusively just performing for 2-3 hours twice a week. 
 

You have to factor in rehearsal, travel, glam, soundcheck, wardrobe fittings, planning, studio time etc. that's all a part of their job. 
 

Also, when pop stars refer to needing a break, it's not necessarily a break from all work, it's a break from the spotlight and the publicity that comes with promoting a project
