Although maybe some people wouldn't consider 2 years that long, we have to acknowledge the fact that each show from The Eras Tour lasts ~3 hours and a half, she did like 150 shows and she travelled the entire world, it's not like a residency...

And yet she managed to release multiple albums and even music videos, so the girl worked her ash off and yes, she DESERVES her rest, even though, as someone mentioned, I doubt she will.
Taylor is a workaholic, it's her choice and her business, and she makes her fans happy, so that shouldn't be such a big deal for those who don't follow her

I don't wanna be annoying or sound at the risk of being an OTH which I am NOT (in fact I'm not a hater of anyone really) but writing your own music is not reaaaaally exhausting for some of us  in fact, it can be just as cathartic as therapy

 

but if you were specifically meaning in tandem with the touring then yes, most certainly exhausting!! but for me, as someone who has been writing songs since he was 8, and at my speed of writing and creating, it's really not exhausting in the slightest and that's not quite the word I'd use to describe it

Yeah, I feel like people think it's too long because the hype was there since 2022 and because every date is such an event, but 149 shows in two years end up being like 2 shows each week, which isn't that much at all, and is even on par with Adele's residency date numbers

Didn't Adele's last tour also last two years with over 120 shows? Back when artists like Beyoncé, Gaga and others were performing in arenas, spending 2 years on a tour with around 150 shows was pretty common.

 

People just pressed with Taylor because she is the only artist in the world with enough demand to sell out +100 stadiums in a single tour.

This. And she did show mostly only on the weekend (except the EU leg). And also those 2 3 months break between legs. 

It just feel like a long time cause everything she does on stage goes viral. No one cares when Ed Sheeran or Coldplay doing 3 4 years tour.

Taylor is very smart. She is on a massive tour, earning massive money, that was her career goal, now after hard work she is striking the iron! Coldplay have been on their recent tour since 2022, because it's their most successful tour and people want to go. 

 

If Taylor wanted to, she could extend The Eras tour for another year. But I think she'll take a break next year, Reputation TV next spring, Debut in the autumn, that is why she is not rushing these releases it's to give her time to relax and enjoy yourself. 

 

On the other hand, as much as I love Adele and Taylor, their job while admirably difficult at times, they would probably die working Monday to Friday 8 to 5 in Tesco.

The same could be said about Taylor? Taylor didn't tour in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, with 202 touring dates in the last 9 years. Adele did 231 dates in the same amount of time
