Same thing that happened last time. Poverty and natural disasters.

Hive will be mad that the Grammy's have a vendetta against Beyoncé while also celebrating the fact that she's the most awarded artist in history

The better question is what's going to happen if she WINS because it seems that even her fan base isn't rooting for CC and most people think Billie deserves it more. So if she wins maybe people will complain and say it's undeserving this time around, downplaying her win as a pity award.

This is the part I'm worried about. Especially coming off the heels of Jay's speech this year. Not trying to hear that it was just a "Here, damn" award.🙄

I actually think it'll get more commotion if it does win. I like Cowboy Carter a lot, but it doesn't deserve the win and I think that's not an uncommon feeling. It doesn't feel as significant as ST, Lemonade, or Renaissance. Further, I think Jay-Z's talk last year would just incite people to look at a CC AOTY win as if it was just given to her to silence that criticism rather than its own merit, which I think is unfortunate. If she's going to win, I'd rather her win another year where that speech isn't as recent and the win won't look like it was just decided to satiate Jay-Z.

And for every person whod say it's undeserved, we'd have receipts that she deserved it already a decade ago. :cm:

No one wants to wake up to the news I woke up to this morning. No one. I was preparing my coffee, turning on wi-fi and the first thing I read is: "What will happen if Beyoncé doesn't win AOTY?". I blinked my eyes countless times and I went on Twitter just to see more and more posts about it. I couldn't believe it. My Cowboy Carter dream was over and there I was at 8AM sitting in my kitchen looking at the screen of my iPhone.

I know this may sound a bit too much but… Yes. Tears started falling from my eyes and they wouldn't stop. I don't consider this to be an over dramatic reaction like many of you could easily consider. I look at it as unconditional love, dedication and passion. Something unexplainable, no one can translate love into words or even admiration. Some people get your attention and you don't know why. And while I am fully aware that Cowboy Carter is not over, it's just down to zero, I also am aware that it's never going to be the same. It doesn't matter if it is Self-titled or Lemonade or Reinassence or EIS or Part III. It doesn't. I saw this album being born when it was just 27 great tracks. A few months later it turned Shaboozey into a strong and confident hitmaker and extremely inspirational. It brought the term "country" back in the music industry and scored one of the biggest hits of this new year. I was obsessed and extremely proud of it.

I've always been aware that 16 Carriages is not meant to last and that's why I flew to Houston just to never see it smash. I knew this was a fast promo single and that's why I spent over 0€ on this track (I've streamed CC 30 times, I met Jay-Z zero times, I've never bought his music, I took a trip just to see HER live, paid hotel… You make the counts!). I wanted to live her as much as I could and looking back I am so proud of every single thing I did for her. She brought back my fan vein in a way I've never experienced before. Kelly Rowland, Sia… They're both established artists and it's another story on how their careers are handled.

Every BeyHive was aware that Cowboy Carter was not happy. Ever since "Texas Hold 'Em" became a smash, something went wrong and the relationship between Bey and the promotion department has always been weird. There's indifference and I don't know what to think. Nonetheless, I am no one to judge that. All I want to make clear is: Cowboy Carter is never going to be Cowboy Carter again and that's why I feel like my dream has been crashed. My Cowboy Carter dream has ended. It hurts so bad when you're not prepared… After all she still hasn't announced the third part.

And no. I am not turning my back on Bey. This was a rough decision but I know what it's like to be in a place where you don't belong or feel included and sometimes... It's better to just go for it.

Yet, I always like to see things from the bright side and I am going to always support Cowboy Carter as an album just like any of the five AOTY nom as individual noms. They've had an amazing and beautiful impact in my life.

Part (if it exists) III… Good luck. Cowboy Carter… Good Luck.

Cowboy Carter… Thank You. You've given me the ultimate fan experience and you've been so inspirational. All of you.

"Tuck, back, oops" Cowboy Carter, "Ooh ooh ooh shoot"

That there are going to be more people complaining than those who actually listen to the album regularly.

And her reaction is the reason why she has two more, instead of going on a coke loser rant about how discriminated she is

The presumption that any album she's released, much less Cowboy Carter, is worthy of winning the award is laughable.

The public isnt even listening to it so I doubt they'll care. The media will write their headlines for clicks. Then in two days it'll be forgotten about.

Nothing, I guess. Probably the Beyhive being mad about it for a couple days but that's it.

Simply nothing like the other times
