Best Friends is so good. It's on Contaminated's level. Just wow. It's been a while since I felt this with a Banks song. So glad to see she's still got it.

Am I the only one who isn't clicking with Best Friends? It's nice, I just find it a bit boring (and Contaminated is probably my all time favourite Banks song before you try to read me)

imo you need to go listen to the demo to understand the song fully... i'm not sure why she cut a whole section out of the final version but it deserved to stay even if it was pushing 5 minutes in length...

anyone know how different the studio version of Direction is from the demo? I like the male voices at the beginning of the demo, they're very raw, but I feel like they have to have been polished/changed for the studio version if I know my Banks

In a livestream it sounded exactly the same as the demo, did not hear any differences.

Friends should have been on the album, it's too good to not have an official release - although she'll probably tack it on to some deluxe edition in 25 years when nobody cares.
