BnPac Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) Glad to know we have so much power!!! We singlehandedly managed to make people with functioning ears think she's a vocalist and that CIL is an iconic song. I guess it's a egg and chick situation. Is she THE Queen because the Hive stans her or the Hive stans her because she's THE Queen? Philosophical question. Anyway thanks for proving my long time theory about people who viscerally hate Beyoncé. Edited 19 hours ago by BnPac

The only part that could be prerrecorded is the second verse in Ya Ya. But she spent most of the performance controlling her posture, having a lot of time between singing sections and she even drank water before Buckiin' and had Post Malone and Shaboozey doing their parts without prerrecordings, that was very much a live performance. I guess people are just not used to SINGERS. At this point, I think people on this site just parrot what they see other people say because I saw like one, maybe two moments that looked lipped and that was it And even if the ENTIRE thing was lipped, she had more stage presence and better fanfare than most of their faves give for any performance ever so I'm trying to figure out what their point is
Rotunda Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago So much purported hate, but so few people willing to show recent performances of their fav that are better 6 1
Ger.vaz Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I don´t know, I mean the performance is good but I think I've seen it all before, same thing: 100 dancers, same moves, same style but the music is really bad this time. 2 4
jadeabove Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago (edited) I have to say, there's one thing that is so spectacular about Beyoncé's performance; the direction. This is something she excels at. She is very consistent when it comes to putting out a very high caliber/quality of performance. She understands lighting really well, and also knows how to place cameras to make the whole thing feel epic and intricate. This is something that sets her aparts from her peers. They are not half as good as her when it comes to the cohesion she delivers everytime. It's clear that there was a lot of pre-recorded vocals in my opinion, as I could even see her breathing while she was "singing" parts of tracks. On my second playthrough I heard more mic pops this time around. I'm just surprised they removed a lot of the breathing from the pre-recorded track. The way she holds her microphone so close to her mouth when singing certain parts makes it unlikely that these parts are live as well, considering her natural singing volume is pretty loud. Considering the mic is compressed to hell and back, impossible it sounds so clean. Then again, I'm not sure what kind of effects they use on the lead vocal bus. I'm sure these sound engineers are wizards either way. There is no denying her talent when it comes to performing, and just the whole debate around it is so ridiculous. She is such a powerhouse and she is SO SO SO entertaining. She just ******* gets it. Also, the way people are so mean towards Blu who is genuinely such a ray of light in this performance. She caught my attention really early on on the performance, especially when she was dancing behind her mom at the beginning on the bleachers. The choreo was great at highlighting both of their presences. I still think she can improve, but imagine being 12 and doing those shows at that level already; incredible. Also, that is not to say that she was not great, she was so good! Texas Hold'Em is such a good track. So is 16 Carriages. I liked Levis Jeans. However, the rest of the tracks for me just are bleh. The execution is phenomenal, as always, but the tracks are meh. Edited 19 hours ago by jadeabove

I guess the question becomes what new dancing are you/we expecting for a football halftime show from someone who is 43 and that you've been watching perform since she was 16. What dancing has she not done that she should be doing? Edited 19 hours ago by Rotunda 1

If she wants to be a background dancer, then sure, let her dance. In the background. At the back of the troop. Why does she need to be the center? It's because she is being pushed by Beyoncé and it's a marketing ploy. Very gross to use your child at such a young age. Immoral. Who lets their 12-years old child dress like this? Little girls being exploited in rnb music is not new. Look at all the rnb acts in 90s. You'd be surprised to learn they were minors when they talked about sexual themes. Monica. Brandy usher. Even bey as 15 yo talking about grown adult themes. That being said she's a nepo baby. Being shoved down our throats. It's cringey. Imagine Gaga Doing this. It would be pathetic. Anyone. Pop Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago This is one of the most forced and transparent attempts at social manipulation and award riggery I've ever seen. Ghislainé Knowles, a loving wife and supporter of a known sexual predator Jay Z paying MILLIONS to set up a fake "Superbowl show" to fix her crumbling image is bad enough on its own. But the show itself being uninspired recycled stuff she's already done a 100 times makes it somehow even worse. There's no amount of cash Jay Z and the Carter criminal family can throw at the media that can make the people forget that they are all standing behind a sexual predator. This homely #BeyChella will be forgotten in the next 24 hours, but the victims? The victims will be remembered. 3 1 1 12
Jai Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Weird behavior per usual from a lot of you. I don't want to see you in the queue for tickets! 1
Feanor Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) It was a great show. It kinda reminded me of that one Destiny's Child Halftime Show from a Thanksgiving game or so from back in the day. This had that old-school halftime show vibe, just updated and more elaborate & cohesive. That being said, I'm against using animals in any capacity for performances or entertainment, so the intro left me cold tbh. At least she only had horses in the pre-recorded section, so there most likely weren't any loud noises or crowds present. Edited 18 hours ago by Feanor

Mr. Stratus Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago It was really nothing we hadn't seen before and the GP agreeing. Lots of negativity on Facebook. I enjoyed the Texas performance, it could've been a bigger song with a visual and a couple more performances 1 2

No one cares about what that demographic has to say about Beyoncé in 2024. You will see what you want to see. Negativity and positivity can be found everywhere.

I'm convinced if stan wars didn't exist and people just sat back and enjoyed shows how it was meant to be all these haters would be stanning. Any time conversations about their faves stop and Beyoncé is the topic they start to seethe lol. Ever since Renaissance tour certain fan bases have been so triggered. They want her to become a retirement act so bad.

NFL halftime shows always got pre-recorded vocals, that's probably a requirement
