Damien M Posted Monday at 07:00 PM Posted Monday at 07:00 PM I mean, good for him. He's allowed to love who he wants to. I wonder how this will play with this (mostly black, queer) fanbase though. Not that it should dictate things...

The fact you think that you're entitled to dictate who a black man should be dating and who he shouldn't just shows your racism. First of all, I didn't say anything about anyone owing anyone anything. I simply corrected you that it wasn't a stigma, people were responding to the predictability of it all. I wasn't even one of the people that posted anything regarding his choice of a partner. The fact that you took that as a moment get on your soapbox and THINK you're talking down to me is foolish. Why I even tried to have a conversation with this much nuance on a website like this was indeed stupid on my part because most of you operate and respond in absolutes with no room for nuance or subtlety. Stop scrambling. There's no nuance to this, you've just convinced yourself there is so that you can have a racist point of view. You say that it's not a stigma, except that's exactly what it is due to comments like yours. The real nuance of this conversation is why you feel comfortable being so openly racist and what has lead you to that. Commenting on it being "predictable" that a black man is dating a white man, and you can't see how ****** up that is? You may as well leave a comment saying "Stay in your lane!" Like I said, black men don't owe you **** and don't need your approval. The fact you think you have the right to dictate who they should be dating is disturbing. 1 1
