Gwen felt insecure and sad about flops; asked Adam Levine how he was getting hits

Adam told her his secret was Jacob Kasher.  He co-wrote True Babe and Somebody Else's.

It also sounds like she had writer's block and writing didn't come naturally for this album.

Will she disown this album in 5 years and say it wasn't really what she wanted to do?

At this point of her career I don't see the point of trying to chase hits, but go off Yummy Chanteuse :emofish:

the music is AWFUL and she's only thinking about hits.... no artistry whatsoever.

I swear I just went to Spotify to check out the new album and the first 3 seconds of Somebody else's (?) just made me burst out laughing

The only thing she needs to do is go back to the harajuku gurls lol

She was sad and insecure about flops so she made a country album that no one asked for? How is that going to help..
