Shaboozey will be #1 again. The CMAs are tonight and not only is he up for two big awards, but he's also a front runner for them.

And he lost all of them :gaynetcat4:

Glad we move on from 2017-20 hags and they are welcomed by normies to embrace new talents in town :clap3:

whatchu deserved to a top 10 hit. it's crazy it's still getting to top 20 when it's been #1-#3 on Apple Music since the release week.

Woah didn't realize Wildflower and Bed Chem were smashing :clap3:

Wildflower is going to be big during the first half of 2025.

But yes, A Bar Song's run at #1 is coming to end, whether it be this week or next week. The lack of a boost from the CMAs should make this even more obvious. ABS is just oversaturated. Even Lose Control got a bigger boost than ABS.

They'll likely reach top 10 in January when 50-11 Xmas songs are purged from the hot 100.

they need to discount or release variants the week of December 27.

Rumors of That's So True's demise have been greatly exaggerated:

I have a feeling Espresso is going to drop to 6 on the Hot 100 this week, behind both Lose Control and That's So True.

Then again, every song on there got a boost… except for A Bar Song. (Even old ass Lose Control got a boost, lol.) This race for #1 is going to be very close.

How are you saying he didn't get a boost lol? He got a big one since he's still 2

Look at Apple Music (keep in mind DWaS wasn't even performed at the CMAs last night):

#9 (+1) Die with a Smile

#15 (-2) A Bar Song (Tipsy)

If ABS got a big boost, wouldn't it have stayed at #1 (and extended its lead) on iTunes, and not decreasing on Apple Music?

I know some people love A Bar Song and want it to stay #1 forever, but let's not ignore the obvious reality:

ABS is just oversaturated. But that's what happens when it's been out for 30 weeks, with 18 of them at #1 in the US and 25 of them at #1 in Canada. It eventually happens to every big song. ABS is no exception.

It happened with Bad Romance in Xmas 2009 when it was 3k sales away from #1 :rip:

Hopefully history don't repeat itself

Just because it dropped 1 position doesn't mean it didn't get a boost. That jelly roll song eclipsed it because it had a greater gain but all CMA songs got a sales boost as you can see from the iTunes top 10

Also DWAS was always ahead of ABS on Apple Music this week so that's been factored into the prediction.
