Smarticle Posted Tuesday at 05:54 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:54 AM Interscope aint moving for DWAS, might as well have Mariah take it back
Luckitty Posted Tuesday at 05:56 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:56 AM the streaming era made the charts so boring during november & december every chart watcher i know thinks the same.. maybe one day holiday songs won't be allowed to chart on the hot 100 1 7 5
woohoo Posted Tuesday at 05:57 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:57 AM (edited) She could in theory tie the record of 19 weeks this year. If Brenda Lee doesn't knock her out a week or two she already has 14, plus one in Nov and 4 in December, oh if she scores the last week in January than just maybe… Edited Tuesday at 05:58 AM by woohoo

The chart is based on consumption now and if a holiday song or a old song that has been used in a tv show is the most consumed it will be #1 I can imagine they will change the rules somewhat because labels may wine about their artists missing out a few spots during november/december... 2

If the streaming charts are dominated by Christmas songs then that should be reflected in the charts whether we like it or not. 7

The top 10s been basically the same for months and the Bar Song would otherwise just be no.1 for like 30 weeks, which just shows how stagnant the charts are getting... 3

Charts have been boring all year long with that Shaboozey song topping them. 5
Erreur2 La Nature Posted Tuesday at 09:51 AM Posted Tuesday at 09:51 AM Lmao already for real ? Great for her tbh but I hope A Bar Song remains #1 for a few more weeks 2
Radical Pessimism Posted Tuesday at 09:55 AM Posted Tuesday at 09:55 AM Pls that's not her in the cover. Be serious, mariah 3

Rn Oct, Nov and december feels so empty.
Green Posted Tuesday at 10:47 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:47 AM Mimi will stop him from getting 20 weeks at #1, but he will probably return to #1 on January

A Bar Song's run at #1 is nearing its end. If it's going to get the 20, it's coming the next 2 weeks. It's already being challenged. No way it's still #1 in 7 weeks time. 1

That's So True is already dropping on AM and its numbers on Spotify aren't really all that big. I somehow doubt she'll keep up that momentum for at least another 7 weeks. Unless her label sends it to radio, I really don't see it going beyond Top 5. My guess for #1 after Christmas is yet another battle between ABS and DWAS. 2

It's gonna take some time before it reaches "A Radio Song" airplay and Shaboozey is gonna get a massive increase after the year-end countdowns, so he will still be #1 on Radio Songs in January. Gracie could be #1 in mid-January, but the first #1 of the year will probably be Shaboozey just like Post Malone's Circles returned to #1 in January of 2020.

Unless she gets massive airplay in January and her streams remain stable until next year.
