Kristie Kuwa Posted March 1 Author Posted March 1 (edited) March 1st Hot Top 20 Charts 1. Bad Bunny - TURiSTA (NEW) 2. Tate McRae feat Flo Milli - bloodonmyhands (NEW) 3. Tate McRae - Revolving Door (NEW) 4. Beyonce - Daughter (-2) 5. Lisa - BADGRRRL (NEW) 6. Lana Del Rey - Say Yes To Heaven (+5) 7. Lisa - elastigirl (NEW) 8. Tate McRae - Signs (NEW) 9. The Weeknd feat. Playboi Carti - Timeless (=) 15. Sabrina Carpenter - Couldn't Make It Any Harder (-10) 16. The Weeknd - Niagara Falls (=) 17. Beyonce - America Has A Problem (-11) 18. Sabrina Carpenter - 15 Minutes (-17) 19. Lisa feat. Doja Cat and RAYE - Born Again (RE) 20. Bad Bunny - DtMF (-13) March 1st Spicy Top 3 Charts 1. Tate McRae - So Close To What (NEW) 2. Lisa - Alter Ego (NEW) 3. Bad Bunny - DeBI TiRAR MaS FOToS (-2) Conclusion: If you had told me that Tate McRae would stomp my charts one day, I would've laughed out loud, and yet here we are. While I do think that the album is basic and oftentimes feels like a tribute album to the 2000s, I can't deny that it packs some bops. Same goes for Lisa, who I initially perceived as quite weak in terms of new single output, yet after playing some of the tracks a few more times, I warmed up to them. Bad Bunny has also still been on power rotation. It's quite interesting for me to see my charts barely any Beyonce these days on my charts, but I suppose thats just normal given the back to back album drops these past few weeks. Remmy Posted March 2 Posted March 2 2/8~ Sadly wasn't in love with the new Abel album, but you do have my 2 faves (OH & GMM) starting in the top 5 Couldn't fully get into Cry for Me. And of course Abracadabra was a slay on first play RIIVERDANCE + Worth It are both cute, can't say they're close to album highlights for me though. Born Again 2H2H, 16 CARRIAGES, bye, Freedom, GLB! all coming back and Supernatural being the only song to rise in this update You love to see it || 2/15~ Omg now my 3rd favorite (title track) from Hurry Up Tomorrow is here Well you clocked my whole trinity. Open Hearts dropping hard in its 2nd week though oop. PPC going right to the top Yeah Sn'S deluxe was great, and I was already blasting my fave (Busy Woman) back when it was uploaded online from a vinyl rip Wish I enjoyed PPP more when it actually came out because over the past few months it's been popping into my head. Lust for Life, Hold Up, S★H★B Von dutch + PURE/HONEY and XO... on a whole other level, my overall fave from her The other Sabrina deluxe tracks leaving BW in the dust. 15 Minutes #1 CATFISH AHAP huge huge slay, possibly the best on REN.. I still struggle with deciding. 3/1~ Yeah I wasn't really into Tate aside from maybe 2 songs, then she started this era and proved she wasn't playing around. Her 3 entries on here are all great choices. LISA absolutely devoured with the singles for this album but the rest of the tracklist wasn't nearly as strong imo FUTW is my fave from the new material, and yeah I prefer the solo version too. ExtraL The best JENNIE track I've heard thus far & by far. Omg I need to start being less lazy w/ posting, there were so many countdown changes to comment on

ExtraL The best JENNIE track I've heard thus far & by far. Omg I need to start being less lazy w/ posting, there were so many countdown changes to comment on You ate with these favs of yours. Riiverdance was a one week thing tho hahha I definitely dont consider it my fav of CC at all. Regarding Rennie: My Top3 songs are quite clearly Virgos Groove, AHAP and Move followed by Cuff It, I'm That Girl.and Heated. Regarding Lisa: I think she did pick the best singles, but wow this first week was so bad for her in terms of promo. I feel like it completely killed the vibe. From the bad Oscar performance to these unnecessary interviews. They dont do anything. Jennie on the other hand is more like a slowburn. I warmed up incredibly to ExtraL and cant wait to listen to her project this Friday. And dont worry, I really appreciate your posts ----------------- On another note: I'll likely update my charts this go around on Friday because Im on holidays afterwards. So be ready for some nice Updates lol I've been listening to a LOT of.music this week
Kristie Kuwa Posted March 7 Author Posted March 7 (edited) Since Im going on vacation today, I thought of posting my weekly update this Friday already. I'll be gone for 2 weeks, so it'll take a bit for me to return back to my charts. This being said, I listened to a LOT of music this week, so my charts are quite representative of the week regardless of just covering 6 days. Without further ado, here they are: March 1st Hot Top 20 Charts 1. Jennie feat. Doechii - ExtraL (+12) 2. Doechii - Anxiety (NEW) 3. Tate McRae - Revolving Door (=) 4. Bad Bunny - TURiSTA (-3) 5. Fuji Kaze - masshiro (pure white) (NEW) 6. Lana Del Rey - Say Yes To Heaven (=) 7. Doechii - Denial Is A River (RE) 8. Lisa BADGRRRL (-3) 9. Tate McRae - Signs (-1) 10. Lisa - Elastigirl (-3) 11. Doechii - Nissan Altima (RE) 12. Tate McRae feat Flo Milli - bloodonmyhands (-10) 13. Charli XCX - Von Dutch (RE) 14. The Weeknd feat. Playboi Carti - Timeless (=) 15. The Weeknd - Open Hearts (RE) 16. Jennie - Mantra (RE) 17. Beyonce - Formation (RE) 18. Bad Bunny - BAILE INoLVIDABLE (-7) 19. Lady Gaga - Abracadabra (-7) 20. Jennie - like JENNIE (NEW) March 1st Spicy Top 3 Charts 1. Jennie - Ruby (NEW) 2. Tate McRae - So Close To What (-1) 3. Lisa - Alter Ego (-1) Conclusion: This week pretty much belonged to Jennie and Doechii (the cover of ExtraL couldn't have worked better than for this week lol). I warmed up a LOT to ExtraL, which in my opinion is not a song that necessarily hits you the first time you hear it, however it has so many layers that it makes you come back to it. Then we have the absolute SMASH that is Anxiety that will likely occupy my charts for quite some time. On the other hand, I kind of had to make peace with the fact that Lisas album didn't really have me in a chokehold like that. I think you'll see a couple songs of the project of the album every now and then, but Jennie cleared. Edited March 7 by Kristie Kuwa
Devin Posted March 9 Posted March 9 jennie & doechii smashing up and down the charts iktr. ima have to check out jennie album.
Pinkoverblue Posted March 20 Posted March 20 13/20 Doechii getting the top 2 spots JENNIE album at #1
Remmy Posted March 21 Posted March 21 ExtraL #1 No complaints there. Anxiety is... not for me But it's cool that she was able to revive an old song of hers & get an easy smash. Well I'm glad you're enjoying JENNIE's album so much I think there's some cute stuff in the first half but it definitely falla apart after that. like JENNIE is cute, but "with the IE" is eeeasily my fave of the new stuff and revisiting Mantra made me realize that it's good & I should've given ha more love when it was new. DIAR, NISSAN, Von dutch, Open Hearts, Formation - all great returnees Hopefully MAYHEM's arrival will keep Abra on the chart Quote My Top3 songs are quite clearly Virgos Groove, AHAP and Move followed by Cuff It, I'm That Girl.and Heated. Regarding Lisa: I think she did pick the best singles, but wow this first week was so bad for her in terms of promo. I feel like it completely killed the vibe. From the bad Oscar performance to these unnecessary interviews. They dont do anything. And dont worry, I really appreciate your posts A lovely lineup but we need the underrated COZY in there, too! Oop I didn't see/hear about any LISA interviews. The main lashings I saw were on Twitter when she was talking about the alter egos slightly before the album dropped because people thought it it was all corny kiii (and they were kinda right, but idc about that.) 1
Kristie Kuwa Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Hello, hello, HELLO! Im back from my lovely vacation and here with an update on the music that truly impacted me these past 2 weeks. You will see that 3 albums in particular captured my attention, so here it goes. Remember: I only include a max of four songs off one album to show some diversity. March 23rd Hot Top 20 Charts 1. Jennie - Like Jennie (+19) 2. Jennie feat. Dua Lipa - Handlebars (NEW) 3. Jennie - Seoul City (NEW) 4. Jennie - With the IE (way up) (NEW) 5. Sugababes - Jungle (NEW) 6. Jade - FUFN (NEW) 7. Chappell Roan - The Giver (NEW) 8. FKA twigs - Eusexua (NEW) 9. FKA twigs - Perfect Stranger (NEW) 10. FKA twigs - Girl Feels Good (NEW) 11. Jisoo - Hugs & Kisses (NEW) 12. Lady Gaga - Don't Call Tonight (NEW) 13. Lady Gaga - How Bad Do You Want Me (NEW) 14. FKA twigs - Drums of Death (NEW) 15. Doechii - Anxiety (-13) 16. Dua Lipa - Training Season (RE) 17. Lady Gaga - LoveDrug (NEW) 18. Tate McRae - Revolving Door (-15) 19. Dua Lipa - Watcha Doing (NEW) 20. Doechii - Nissan Altima (RE) March 23rd Spicy Top 3 Charts 1. Jennie - Ruby (=) 2. FKA twigs - Eusexua (NEW) 3. Lady Gaga - Mayhem (NEW) Conclusion: I've quite literally been obsessed by Ruby up until yesterday when I discovered FKA twigs' Eusexua, which completely blew me away! What an incredible record! I also rediscovered my love for Dua's overlooked Radical Optimism in the wake of her tour and my vacation. Honestly a great record to listen to once the weather is warm and summery. I'm pretty positive that my charts will have more variety next week, but as of the last 2 weeks altogether, these 3-4 albums have dominated my playlists.
