she is saying it is for its anniversary, so the only release date that makes sense would be this Friday, the week it completed 2 years.

On twitter they're saying the same insider that knew about saturn surpise drop has confirmed that LANA is coming this friday.. I can't find anything about it though

with the amount of songs on that tracklist, it's giving double album/ sister albums more than a deluxe… it's gonna take 10 seconds to scroll through the tracklist if she really adds all these songs to SOS 😭

I'd love if this was its own separate release but just titled LANA (SOS Deluxe) instead of her just tacking on these songs to the end of SOS. The SOS album cover is so good and I bet the LANA will be too but I don't want the SOS album cover to be replaced

It would be both iconic and ugly if we end up with a 40 song deluxe.  SOS already broke so many records by itself.

pretty sure them dropping this as a "deluxe" is a contractual loophole

Agreed. The chart performance of the standard version of "SOS" would already be automatically boosted by a new SZA release anyway. 

 

Given the rollout and the amount of tracks, "LANA" would feel much more appropriate as a "The Fame Monster"/"Cannibal"/"Paradise" type of release. Even recently we got KAROL G doing this for her 2023 "MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO" album, where later that year she dropped a 10-track companion project titled "MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO (BICHOTA SEASON)", where both charted separarely.
