US Spotify numbers (I think this should be for 9 hours, not 4):

Global Spotify cuts off at 0000 UTC (6:00 PM CST or 7:00 PM CDT). US Spotify cuts off at 11PM CT.

Yeah, this is weird. An entirely different album 2 years later? Gimmicky af.

Only 2-3 songs I like on first listen, but I will be keeping those on my playlist. Maybe will warm up to more this week as I travel.

I dont get why artists who are pulling NUMBERS like her or Taylor feel the need to do cheap gimmicks like that. Its quite offputting.

On my first listen and while I think it sounds nice, I feel like SZA starts to feel stuck artistically speaking. Its quite hard to differentiate between her projects, which tells me theres no real evolution happening. The most exciting part about Lana is the cover art tbh lol

See this is why I always put up with her annoying ass cause I know I can always count on her to deliver quality in the end.

I already have the SOS vinyl but I kinda need this one. I'll probably order it and then sell the regular one or something.

I know they were mixing this album right up to the last second but I feel like the muffled more lo-fi sound is a stylistic choice. The mixing on the album version of Saturn's also sounds less crisp and clear compared to the single version.

I can't stop playing the album and I love it. I even love the production now, it's rough, I hope they don't change it.

now why does it sound like she recorded this album underwater

If you're streaming on Spotify it probably doesn't help.

Kitchen and Scorsese immediately being two of her best songs :jonny:

I LOVE this, it's immediately better than SOS for me (which is bloated and has too many songs that aren't necessary, imo). The sounds and vibes are so different, wish she had released this as its own separate album.

Another Life is incredible :deadbanana: probably my favorite along with Good Days from the entire 38 tracks.

Chill baby is the perfect short, sweet and understated moment halfway through that I needed. That bassline does something to me idk :jonnycat:

Dancing and kissing, the kitchen
Makes me forget, I forgive him
Mama told me I don't listen…back again
Crashing out on shrooms, I guard them
Cursing you solves all my problems
Vacationing in rock bottom…back again

It's the way every track has grown on me

Kitchen, 30 for 30, crybaby and scorcese baby daddy are career highlights sonically.

What's the gimmick? Is it to inflate sales for the main album? Would SOS be combined with this album and go #1 again? I assume she does this because if the album flops then it was just a deluxe version so it doesn't count towards being an unsuccessful era.
