SOS was AOTY for me but this "deluxe"…undoubtedly her worst project for me. Two great songs and the rest are snores. Pretty disappointed. Should've waited for a completely different album, especially since this mostly doesn't even fit with SOS to begin with.

yeah no mixing issues aside (which I'm sure she'll continue to update throughout the week) this is yet another killer batch of songs. i'm sure i'm not the only one about to flood her comments asking what happened to Take You Down but overall i'm really happy. Crybaby and Scorsese Baby Daddy alone I mean...

I love Kitchen, My Turn and the new Kendrick collab. Saturn was always a beautiful song but now it's the proper season to put it on my heavy rotation

 

I hate it when artists put "deluxe" tracks in front of the main body of work. Even worse if it's a whole a$$ 15 tracks? 

It doesn't even match with the OG, but it's not a strong enough body of work to stand on its own. So why didn't they call it a "mixtape"?

yeah Kitchen is the star of the show, lovely song. I think this feels closer to CTRL than SOS too but I'm totally fine because CTRL is my fav project from her.

Still don't know what I should think about this album.. it's not clicking for me yet (but so was SOS on my first listen, so I'll give it some time)

 

But Kitchen is already a career highlight so the wait was definitly worth it.

Its pretty good. I think there are a couple songs that are kind of a snooze fest. Her voice is super drowned out at times throughout the album.

 

This should have been a separate project and gives more mixtape vibes which is not a bad thing at all.
