No but since this was an issue since 2016 and the totals have songs from the last eight years where certain acts were claimed to not have solo power I think this provides some education as to why this could also very well be this year.

If you didn't understand the post here's a translation for you: No but since it was claimed that Gaga doesn't have solo power since 2016 and the totals have songs from the last eight years where Gaga scored a solo top 5 hit in Million Reasons in 2017, another 1 billion+ streamed solo hit in 2019, then another solo top 5 debut in 2020 AND another solo hit in 2022 I think this provides some education as to why this narrative could also very well be debunked this year.

Assuming you're referring to Bad Romance since that's her biggest 2009 song, she only drops one position and would be only 82K from #10 if we remove it.

It's because of the cherry picked specifics which exclude massive songs like Crazy in Love that pull 1m daily consistently.

 

- Beyonce is outstreaming Katy in overall and lead streams. 

 

- Dua is outstreaming Katy in overall streams but below her in lead streams.

 

- Miley is surpisingly below Katy in overall, lead and solo streams.

What these very specific stats dont show is that Gaga and Katy's streams are heavily carried by their pre-2013 albums. Both TD and TFM pull a whopping 4.9m-5m daily streams, more than their other studio albums combined. If anything that just shows people are interested in their old music.

 

When we look at their post-2013 studio albums daily streams Beyonce is much more consistent:

Beyonce has a more even spread of streams across her albums, with 5 albums above 2 billion. Katy and Gaga only have 3 above 2 billion with TD/TFM heavily carrying their numbers.
