Angelo Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Are you surprised that Olivia Rodrigo is booking stadiums in Latin America for her second album tour? Did you think she was over? Did you believe her career would be short and sweet? Discuss. 1
VelvetCrush Posted yesterday at 01:59 AM Posted yesterday at 01:59 AM In Brazil we've talking about it for weeks due to rumors so no surprise Hopefully I'll be there! 1
Cheers Posted yesterday at 02:00 AM Posted yesterday at 02:00 AM No everyone is doing Latin American stadium dates these days 9
Mezik Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM Posted yesterday at 02:01 AM No. TBH, I think she could've done half/half stadiums and arenas in North America. She could've easily done Rogers Centre in Toronto. NYC, LA, Chicago.. she probably could have even done stadiums in Atlanta and Nashville.
Mrnoniee Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM Posted yesterday at 02:05 AM No, she literally had a sophomore slump Her recent album and era are long forgotten and she is literlaly on her way to fizzle OUT soon she FAILED to replicate/touch the success of her debut her debut era hype can only take her so far and no, booking shows in LatAm is NAWT a precursor of how successful you are. Even non commercial/successful artists do great there, the stan culture there is HUGE 3 13
Tistotal Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM Yes, I thought she was local to the anglo sphere. Good 4 her though!

Erotic Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM An organic industry legend Booking her own stadiums, not having to ass kiss and open them for others 1
bliaz Posted yesterday at 02:53 AM Posted yesterday at 02:53 AM Yes. In my country, to be precise, I have never heard anyone talk about her. But maybe that's because I'm not her target audience. Good for her.

Bloodflowers. Posted yesterday at 03:16 AM Posted yesterday at 03:16 AM SOUR and GUTS are global and she made her own niché and lane for herself that others cannot replicate. Originality and having your own unique identity and sound pays off 3
BuzzCharts Posted yesterday at 03:17 AM Posted yesterday at 03:17 AM Didn't have to pretend to like Taylor like some others either 2
Roberto Posted yesterday at 03:18 AM Posted yesterday at 03:18 AM Wait, is this apart from Lollapalooza? She is coming to Chile in that festival. Is she doing a stadium side show?

Letters From Adi Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Posted yesterday at 04:23 AM Filipinas are honorary Latinas
Walk_Away21 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Tbh touring demand is insane since covid. So many acts can do stadiums now it's wild.

She lacks the stage presence to handle a stadium but the demand was there.
