Is Froot (A) by Marina a masterpiece?

Absolutely.

Froot, Happy, I'm a Ruin, Blue, Forget, Better Than That, Weeds, Savages all get played almost 10 years later.

I've only never gotten into Gold, Can't Pin Me Down, Solitare, but they're still beautiful.

Well, yes, and in my opinion, it has aged far better than Electra Heart. It's her second-best album after The Family Jewels and the one I find myself returning to most often from all of her records.

Her best record. With the exception of Better Than That, it's a homerun.

Blue, Solitaire, Froot, I'm a Ruin, Gold... amazing.

Yes, it's one of my all time favourite albums! FROOT got me through a very hard time in my life and it gave me such comfort listening to it.

I'm still impressed by how varied yet cohesive all the songs are. Also the album/era aesthetics are just incredible, she absolutely nailed the colorful neon and visuals of growing and nature.

I can't believe this album's about to turn 10 years old :deadbanana4:

But yes, it's really unique and aged the best out of all her albums

FROOT was just a good body of work... Her intentions weren't clear as to why she made it which is why it worked so well and was praised so much. And the lyrics to FROOT (S) are just amazing. Wish she would get back to this headspace.

Yes it is! "Gold" and "I'm A Ruin" will forever be some of my all time favorite songs. This album is just such a pleasant breeze of freedom and self reflection...

I hope it will get a nice re-issue next year for the 10th anniversary, preferably with "I'm Not Hungry Anymore" finally available everywhere!

MTE. It's a solid album with its own sound without trying too hard to achieve a big overarching theme like her other albums. It's her best album as a result. Some of her best work might be on other albums certainly not on Love + Fear  but as a whole album, it's up top.
