Brooklyn Baby Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Here in America, we've set our clocks back one hour due to Daylight Saving Time. The sun now sets at 5 PM. Do you prefer early sunsets (4-5 PM) or late sunsets (7-10 PM)?
Breathe On Moi Posted November 12 Posted November 12 does any of it matter? earth can literally just kill us all if she wants, you here worried about early sunsets 2
Archetype Posted November 12 Posted November 12 It's terrible and everyone who likes this should be sent to purgatory
poki Posted November 12 Posted November 12 I usually get up around 12pm which means now I see ~4 hours of sun daily which sets quite the tone
rebeltwat Posted November 12 Posted November 12 They're both stunning to me but I've always been in the minority who enjoys the short days of winter 2
Alldeezy Posted November 12 Posted November 12 never awake for early ones and afternoon ones are annoying when your driving.
Letters From Adi Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Whatever keeps the temperature from freezing or burning
Distantconstellation Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Early sunsets. I wish it were night time 24/7. 1 2
Khal Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Late. 6pm should be the earliest that the sun sets anywhere. Twilight by 4:30pm
MP3 Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Here the sun can sets around 9pm in summer peak so it's perfect, you can enjoy late dinner outside but during the winter the sun sets around 4pm which is really bad
Pop Life Posted November 12 Posted November 12 (edited) I love it when the sun sets early. I wish it were like this all the time. These months are for the quiet and thoughtful people. I can begin my night early and do whatever I want. I can go out and soak up the atmosphere, admiring the city lights. Or I can rot away in my bed. It's peaceful and free from the pressures of the day. Contrast that with July. It's 8 o'clock at night yet the sun is still screaming in the sky. And all the masses and their unruly children along with every bug on earth are all out there screaming away with it. That's hell on earth and these long nights are a much-needed break from it. I prefer the pitch-black freedom of November. Edited November 12 by Pop Life 2 1
YouSmellLikeHospital Posted November 17 Posted November 17 Late sunsets >>> I hate that it gets dark now before I even get off of work, I miss the days of it not getting dark until like 8 PM. It makes it feel like the day is already over and kills my motivation to go do anything
SLIME Posted November 21 Posted November 21 Not acknowledging Daylight Savings anymore. That doesn't exist to or work for me. It's 3:58.
Ewan Chaos Posted November 21 Posted November 21 Any sunset is a good sunset to me. But ideally like 6:30pm is a good sunset time- basically once the sun starts setting early but Daylight Saving time hasn't taken place yet. I prefer the sun setting on the earlier side as I like having more calmer nighttime (usually), but the sun being completely gone by like 5pm is TOO early.
