fememeist Posted Monday at 09:57 PM Posted Monday at 09:57 PM They need to reevaluate some of their older acts. 1 3
stjosephprey4us Posted Monday at 09:59 PM Posted Monday at 09:59 PM They stay sleeping on Lana. Seriously, if they would just force her to release more pop-y music / the unreleased album(s) World Hunger would be solved by now 3 1
Popular Post mons†er Posted Monday at 10:02 PM Popular Post Posted Monday at 10:02 PM Well that's pretty stupid. What Billie does works for Billie, those standards shouldn't be applied to new artists. It's very much setting the new artist up for failure. 11 7

Helix Posted Monday at 10:04 PM Posted Monday at 10:04 PM (edited) Do they know it took Billie 5 years to finally smash? I hope that means they will support their younger artists for a longer time period instead of putting them on hold after their first project doesn't click. It takes time to perfect artistry and it often feels like labels don't care anymore if they don't immidiatly do numbers See Chappel or Raye etc.. before they blew up for example, they were always in label limbo Edited yesterday at 12:17 AM by Helix 7 3
UseYourIllusion2002 Posted Monday at 10:10 PM Posted Monday at 10:10 PM Olivia and Billie are on the same label? Damn

Ironically their older or legacy acts are the ones that the labels makes the most from due to touring. You can flop for 20+ years on the charts and have an insanely profitable tour more so than any of the artists scoring back to back hits. There is no money in streaming. wish Posted Monday at 10:20 PM Posted Monday at 10:20 PM Billie Eilish truly is the standard for young female artists. No one even comes close to her 4 1 1

bad guy Posted Monday at 10:31 PM Posted Monday at 10:31 PM Well yes we knew she was the standard, but maybe they should start individualizing these girls otherwise they're setting them up straight for the Billie copycat allegations. Also had no idea #she was on Interscope. I guess that would explain why some funds were reallocated to playlists for her sudden "breakout hit" instead of trying to get Birds to #1. 1

Helix Posted Monday at 10:37 PM Posted Monday at 10:37 PM (edited) Lets hope they turned a blind eye on Billies videography this era and don't take cheap self directed videos as the new standard. They need to force our girl to work with directors again Edited Monday at 11:43 PM by Helix 1 1

This could be used to describe all these constant Gracie haters on ATRL. Like I get not liking someone's music, but everytime I enter a thread that even mentiones her once, y'all start lashing on her so much as if she murdered your family or something OT: Oh Billie, see when you're a young LEGEND 4
JJZAW Posted Monday at 10:56 PM Posted Monday at 10:56 PM Someone add this to her 'legacy and impact' on wikipedia
imason Posted Monday at 10:59 PM Posted Monday at 10:59 PM Selena needs to leave Interscope and sign with Republic. That is when she decides to care about music I mean she should do that when she does decide to care about doing music again. 1

Dula Peep Posted Monday at 11:33 PM Posted Monday at 11:33 PM (edited) Billie is a once in a lifetime type of popstar... they shouldn't be setting up anyone else like her unless they want failure just proves how clueless the music industry execs are... Edited Monday at 11:34 PM by Dula Peep 1
RoseBud Posted Monday at 11:57 PM Posted Monday at 11:57 PM Olivia Rodrigo recently told Billboard that she'd rather be a songwriter than a pop star. The "Drivers License" singer said she'll likely "stop making music and just write for other people." She said "the second" her current album cycle is over, she'll collaborate with other artists.
