Voters also have to be held accountable.

I've yet to see anyone say they regret their Trump 2024 vote.

Most people on here didn't vote for Trump. So your voice is going to the wrong place. Like 4Chan, Twitter or Facebook.

How can they regret when he's not the president yet? 🤔

I get the knee jerk reaction to blame voters like this. But this type of blaming isn’t constructive. It’s just emotional. Voters are gonna be voters.

Talking about how to politically organize, how to redirect political action, and how to organize outside of electoral politics is more instructive for how to take action moving forward, while being mindful of what failed this time around.

Sadly yes. At this point we will just have to wait and let it happen. Unfortunately even if even many learn a lesson they will get lazy and complacent again and it will repeat eventually in another way. I've made peace with it I think finally. Humanity big picture is average to below average intelligence and the vast majority are lazy who don't like thinking even if they are of higher intelligence. Only a small minority of humanity cares BEFORE things go wrong and try. The rest just want someone to blame for their problems and who better than those in power at the time of things go wrong? It is time to reflect on the things you can control and better for your life instead of constantly being upset with everyone else and the world. That is pretty much what most others are doing, or at least trying to do. You owe them nothing for their own idiocy

There is always going to be people that will vote for the worse option, in every election. Millions of people.

I guarantee you if Adolf Hitler himself was reincarnated and ran in an election, people would gladly vote for him today.

The point of this is, the people at the top are responsible for putting our better strategies and options and policies that make the worse option being viable, worthless

This common sense thread topic does NOT belong on ATRL. :giraffe: The people above me defending the voters for voting for a rapist, xenophobic  rapist is proof of that. People saying "voters are gonna vote the way they do" with literally zero accountability is the definition of delusional. Feelings of a bad economy do NOT give you permission to vote for Americas HITLER.

Go get your DNC pompoms and join the corner of the Internet with Olivia Julianna then. If honest, nuanced conversations about politics offends you, then there are plenty of pro-Democrat echo chambers online for you to participate in.

I have a LOT of criticism for DNC. They definitely made a lot of mistakes. That doesnt take the MAGA psychopaths off the hook for their despicable choices.

I've mainly seen people attack voters.

Same thing as last time. College educated dems attacking those who voted against their own interests and calling them every name in the book. This time there's the bonus of dems celebrating mass deportations and dragging Latinos.

I just want to say, I remebemer your political posts probably as far back as the (2016/2020?) elections. It's nice to see other people wake up see what the problems are and that something has to change.

I blame voters, but I mostly blame the DNC.

But people are allowed to vote how they want we do live in a democracy right?

While I understand your frustrations, if this is the language you use to convince people to vote for your side, it's no mystery why we lost.

I know Trumps words are louder than his actions. He will be busy playing golf to care about doing anything.

Ok well good luck with your histrionics. I'm sure they're very scared about you "holding them accountable"…whatever that means :deadbanana4:
