Ho tf are you and why do you expose your illiteracy by not being unable to have arguments without making personal remarks? That's not what your queen taught you

Bey needs to ban them for doing this. It always ends with her getting dragged when it's just the professors wanting a viral moment

This entire thing sounds fine to me. Beyoncé's work is worthy of study and it's not wrong to discuss, in that context, why other artists may get more recognition or may get recognition in different ways. It's not wrong to ask whether Taylor did deserve those AOTYs or whether Beyoncé deserves to have won that same award (she does!).

But, like, I don't know, at least bother to say the other woman's name if you're going to bring her up. :katie: That may just be on the person who wrote the article, honestly.

This is all funny and jokes but during my BA (in English literature) I had a week on Beyonce's Lemonade and the neoliberal politics of resilience feminism and it was actually super insightful and intellectually engaging

Thank you person that has actually been to college.

Y'all not knowing what college/uni electives and minors are is WILD  you can study practically anything in most universities. Pop culture figures have been getting academically studied for decades.

I can imagine one of her students bringing "The stanbases of ATRL and their interaction in a competitive environment (charts)" as a PhD topic, I kinda would love to read the results of this research

:suburban:

The printed ATRL threads in their review of related literature.

This is essential African American studies through the lens of entertainment and there's honestly nobody who is a better study of this than Beyonce.

The Taylor read was true also so i'm not sure what y'all are mad about.

Good for Yale.
