I believe it. I blame McConnell & Biden for sticking us with Trump again.

How are you unpopular and win the popular vote? Meanwhile Nixon, Reagan and the like are actual historic election victories.

1) Unpopular typically refers to low favorability ratings and Trump was a historically unpopular figure

2) History can be made outside an electoral college tally

It's been widely observed that Biden seemed to be passive-aggressively sabotaging Kamala over the past few months, so this feel comedically believable lmao.

And it's such characteristic Boomer behaviour (I know that he's technically a few years too old to be a Boomer, but still) :rip:

Lowkey this. She was obviously the one pushing him to run again and in his ear saying he was well enough to run. I never thought Kamala was a good idea and it was risky af for anyone this late in the game. Biden should've at least dropped out immediately after that debate not a whole month later

By having a more unpopular opponent.

What was historic about it exactly? Boldong a word doesn't make it true lol

Right :rip: Kamala did lose the popular vote by surprising margins but people are forgetting there were only a couple of hundred thousand votes in it in the blue wall

You can't convince me this wasn't deliberate. The Bidens threw the entire country into fascism because of their bruised egos.

Let's not pretend that before she became the nominee we all didn't think Kamala stood no chance in a general election. I believe it. When people were talking about Biden dropping out, Kamala didn't even come to mind before Biden endorsed her.

Interesting if this is true, the Pelosi/Obama people were somewhat outplayed by the Biden people and the Clinton people. A mess overall :suburban:

It was very clear that this happened and there were even reports when Biden dropped out, this isnt even a conspiracy theory. Well, not sure the Kamala endorsement was a f. U or just Biden doing what he felt made more sense, but the pqrt that Obama and Pelosi wanted someone else clearly showed.

So by this logic, Biden threw Ukraine, Palestine, American women, and the LGBTQ+ community under the bus over his arrogance? If this is true, wow what an azzhole.

The past four months will truly go down as some of the most iconic and consequential in American political history.

So who do we think Pelosi/Obama wanted on the ticket instead?

Allegedly Pelosi wanted Gavin Newsom

Wasn't there a lot of campaign money tied to Biden that he could only pass on to Kamala Harris? I remember it was one of the first things brought up when he dropped out.

Also all the conspiracies lately were related to how he secretly despised Harris :deadbanana2: Rather than the opposite

If it was some 5D Biden chess game, it wouldn't change much since he's already more or less to blame for no one, including Kamala, getting to run a full campaign, because he dropped out so late.

I truly don't feel the conspiracy expands beyond Biden being senile and confused as to who what when where and why. Like who on earth expected him to carry out another 4 years after Trump "dodged a bullet" and kept it moving? The only tangible conspiracy is that the assassination attempt was staged which had democrats scrambling and launching a woman of color as the new candidate to spark new interest among young voters.

It was obvious Biden endorsed Harris so that she can continue his "legacy" in a way. It would be less embarrassing for him If his VP was the next president I guess. And like other mentioned, it was weird how long the Obamas waited to endorse Harris.

Michelle and Shapiro

I don't think Obama/Pelosi's reluctance to support Kamala was a personal slight against her. They had internal polling showing Biden loosing in a landslide. With his poor approval ratings, they probably knew that Kamala wouldn't be able to distance herself enough to overcome those challenges.

That said, an open convention just three months before the election would have been chaotic, and whoever emerged as the nominee would have faced the same uphill battle, likely losing to Trump.

Didn't AOC tell us months ago that they were trying to get rid of Biden and Harris? I'm not surprised
