Kinda gagged AOC was being honest (there were reports some people in Obama's sphere wanted the "celebrity blitz primary" with figures like Oprah doing debates but the back and forth suggested Pelosi was not one), but also then.. one has to wonder why progressives didn't see such as a moment to enter a primary themselves?

 

Like if Biden lost with Trump getting 400 EVs, it'd 100% be used by centrists as a claim that his populist first two years with COVID stimulus were to blame.

That's what I thought. Obama and Pelosi did not endorse Kamala right away and there were words going around at the time that they wanted an open primary.
