she seemed nervous and hesitant to talk about it so she either misspoke or was embarrassed/felt ashamed to say how long it'd actually been I'd say 

or, actually, listening back and reading this tweet below maybe she was referring to a few yrs prior?

I assume she meant the renewal/extension after her boyfriend/manager jason trawick was removed as a conservator? That would check out timewise I think

It was reported that she tried to dismantle it in court in 2014 but was unsuccessful - so I assume it's to do with that

The conservatorship broke her more than everything that happened prior. Hope she'll recover somehow

Everything felt different after glory. I know they hated when  they saw her tasting freedom making this album and got paranoid.
