ABS is going to surpass Last Night's weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and spend a 17th week at #1 this week.

Arguably 2 of the biggest USA hits this decade but when all is said and done which one will be regarded as the bigger smash?

 

Last Night was #1 on the 2023 USA Year End chart and was released in March whereas A Bar Song was released in April and managed to reach #2 on the 2024 YE list (couldn't beat Lose Control )

As an European I heard ABS quite a bit, which was never the case for LN, and it has also more weeks at #1 on Hot 100 + it wasn't made by a racist so...

A Bar Song was more globally successful while Morgan is more of a US based success. A Bar Song is catchy but it got old real fast, I find myself using Last Night more

Shaboozey. Longer #1, better song, and it will be surpassing LN on Spotify relatively soon (it's nearing 900 million streams with 2.4 million daily vs LN is at 1.1 billion and under 900k daily).

last night was... pandering from his fanbase almost like 'cruel summer' or fortnight with male appeal. it had tons of promo and brainwashing into mass media to like the song which is good but at the end it's not touching seven summer or more than my hometown songwriting level.
