ImsoLOUD Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) Conspiracies regarding what happened to the "Knock You Down" singers career following her Sophomore release titled "No Boys Allowed" aside.... did Miss Keri Baby serve a classic-empowerment anthem with Top 25 Billboard hit "Pretty Girl Rock"? Hair Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Oh absolutely, I was obsessed with this song for a bit after I saw her perform it on Germany's Next Top Model, the live version was a serve. 1
itshyolee Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Oh absolutely. A pretty bish anthem that stood the test of time 1
Junho_lover Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Yes it is, both albums are amazing. However, i think I Like is more of a classic but maybe only internationally;) 1
blown away Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I was hoping it would be this bop, it's a classic in my house. 2
nostalgic Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I think the quarterly appreciation thread for this one is overdue And this: And this as well: She has so many bops that went under the radar 2 2
naval23 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 "jealousy is the ugliest trait" being pasted in therapy offices as we speak - her impact was real

goldenrainbow222 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Keri was that girl. Both of her albums were stacked with classics. She's had the modern bizarre career trajectory. One of their biggest fumbles though was changing Return the Favor. The demo stomped. Also Happy Juice should've been the first single right after The Way I Are was smashing. It's kinda incredible her album was still successful after how long it took to come out. 1

sweetsexysavage Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Both of her albums are underrated. It's so sad she never released another one.
Scandalous Posted November 8 Posted November 8 this is not one of her best songs but both her albums are so good why did she disappear

I was so surprised when I listened to the album version of Return the Favor... The demo is so much better. 1
