.Odyssey. Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Contrary to Joe Biden, I feel like history will be more sympathetic to Kamala and her having to run a campaign against almost impossible circumstances to overcome. I see her receiving much less vitriol than Hillary did for her loss. How do you think we'll look back on Kamala in a few years? And is her political career completely over? 1
ATRL Moderator Bloo Posted November 8 ATRL Moderator Posted November 8 I think her campaign will be informative for future campaigns because she made a lot of fumbles. But I think she’ll be less marred than Biden. I think there will be some sense of sympathy for her because her race was so… strange because she rose to the nomination in historic circumstances because of Biden’s arrogance. I think he’s going to be seen more as the villain of this story. That doesn’t mean she ran a flawless campaign. She ran a very bad campaign and made a lot of avoidable mistakes. I just think people will give her a pass and place most of the blame at Biden. 8
Archetype Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I think she'll be remembered positively. If she was up against any other Republican candidate, she would have won IMO. 14
EnoughSaid Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Positively. She ran an impressive campaign in just three months. She should enter the private sector, release a book, and stay a national figure. 10
GraceRandolph Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Honestly not much at all outside of being the first female VP, history will not be sympathetic to her considering she made Hillary's loss look like a landslide victory in comparison. 5 2
Gladiator Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) I think the biggest thing people will look at her is blaming Biden for not dropping out sooner and criticizing her for not taking a stance on much or letting her policies be known beyond vague ideologues. I made a post a few weeks ago how I have watched quite a few interviews and very rarely in them did she lay out her proposed ideas on a policy. Most were very hopeful nonanswers that didn't really resonate since no action was proposed. I think that is the biggest criticism she will have in the future (as well as now). BOOMBAYAH Posted November 8 Posted November 8 After we all stop thinking emotionally and come to our senses we will see her as an establishment Democratic puppet, the same way we view Hillary. 14 1 2
family.guy123 Posted November 8 Posted November 8 How many vice presidents from yesteryears do you recall? Time is fleeting. She's a whiff. 2

Marianah Adkins Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Brat Biden's VP Democrats' goat offering Worse candidate than Hillary 1
HausOfPunk Posted November 8 Posted November 8 She will be remembered as the candidate who lost to Trump unfortunately. Her time as VP is forgettable. No one is going to remember the Brat memes 20 years from now. 3 1 1
dawnettakins Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Not sure. He really trounced her, she lost devastatingly even losing the popular vote as well so. 1
TedMiracle Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Worst and dumbest politician in history of the world. 1 3
MistressKay Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I mean I don't think she will? Are VP generally remembered long? I mean she the first woman so I guess that will count for something but once the first woman president ever comes she will be forgotten. 1
TROPICUM Posted November 8 Posted November 8 not to push the veep agenda but she'll be remembered as the "first woman" etc etc until the actual first female US president is elected maybe some documents will leak about how she actually fought hard against israel behind the scenes but couldn't do much, get critical praise and run in 2028 1
PoisonPill Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I agree that she will come out of this quite alright. Considering the unprecedented circumstance she was thrown into, she ran a nearly flawless campaign in record time with no major missteps. I think she can emerge from this as an important voice and face of the Democratic Party as it tries to figure out how to come back from this. 1
