OT: OGHs (including the writer) can gaslight people as much as they want, DWAS is a Gaga song

Then why is her lead and highly anticipated solo single debuting 14 spots below Bruno's second single in its second week?

I think the problem is less with "solo song" vs "collab" and more to do with the GP loving her power ballads and no longer resonating with her electro-pop sound. Aside from Rain On Me (which was carried by Ari's long track record for high first week performances for singles), her other big hits this decade have all been slower balladry without the dance production.

Disease is fan service and is very good in that regard, but it's not what the GP wants from her. I think Gaga can have future solo hits if she leans into the adult contemporary side of her sound. Like more Speechless and You and I's and she will find something that clicks

this is actually true and proven by the fact that ARUTW is a smash without even being pushed

and this is why i think her doing a double album with AC pop on 1 side and dark/dance pop on the other would benefit her a lot cause it would satisfy everybody

Objectively she can't get a solo number 1 anymore

given that the nuclear bomb called lg7 LEAD single 'Disease' dropped 31 spots in its second week on Hot100, I highly doubt it

Beyonce has never flopped to come back from anything. She just didn't release an album for 6 years.

Lemonade's lead single (Formation) was a solo hit. Ren's lead single (BMS) was a solo #1 hit. CC's lead single (THE) was a solo #1 hit

Joanne's lead single (PI) was a solo flop. Chroma's lead single (SL) was a solo flop. And now Disease is the next solo flop lead single

Well when you put it like it that sounds like Gar's last three lead singles have flopped
