The only bullying that I saw was people hating on that video with her annoying gay friends and like some ugly dog in it, but girl, people wanted to see Ariana Grande so of course they were upset! 4 hours ago, GentleDance said: I'm not going to like use this word...bullied she said "not bullied", she just didnt know what word to use
Soda Pop Queen Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I'm not an Arianator so someone refresh my memory or clue me in. I wasn't aware Positions was met with resistance or lukewarm reception from the fans. Now, Sweetener on the other hand.

theweekend Posted November 8 Posted November 8 lash them she gave us positions which still stands as her best single and they cussed her out
SpaceOddity Posted November 8 Posted November 8 8 minutes ago, Teen Spirit said: Y'all overrate the hell out of TUN. Nah. I find people using Positions' mixed reception to build it up as this underrated project that nobody understood in retrospect laughable. It's the definition of 'beige'. No oomph, no life, just lazy inoffensive midtempos that pull no interesting production tricks, no engaging lyrics, no experimentation, weak hooks. Fillers galore. But that's just me. TU,N has consistently, it's fun, there's variation. Not every track lands but even the mediocre tracks aren't just.....there. 3 2 2

alexjealexje Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I loved this album but i understand that people were underwhelmed by it after TUN
dumbsparce Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I liked the vibe but the only non annoying song was the title track
Helix Posted November 8 Posted November 8 She deserved the lashings for giving us all those short ass songs without bridges or proper endings. Like what was she thinking when she made Test Drive and worst behavior 2 minutes long Don't understand the hate for the album tho, it's far better than TUN for me
unbothered Posted November 9 Posted November 9 I didn't really care for it after the greatness of TUN.
Nashe Posted November 9 Posted November 9 well, tbf it definitely wasn't what the fans / gp wanted from her at the time. most folks wanted the pop diva persona & sound to continue, yet she delivered a harmless r&b-pop record which doesn't impress you at first but it's meant to grow with time and that's exactly what happened.
NEUTRON Posted November 9 Posted November 9 I love Postitions. Maybe she meant ES cuz sis...this was not the vibe I wanted
BRYLL Posted November 11 Posted November 11 (edited) Positions is good and it's growing on me the more I listen to it all the way through. I just hope she NEVER works with Pharrell* again. Edited November 11 by BRYLL

It was just... there. Not bad and I'm sure some loved it but for a casual fan it was a huge step down from T,UN and even Sweetener. That said, I don't care at all for the new record, I forget the name
Relampago. Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Positions and Sweetener are her magnus opuses People who want thank u, next Ari back are delusional. For such a personal album, so much of the music on there is nearly faceless. Not a bad album, just not up to her top 2's standards. 2
brenda-walsh Posted November 12 Posted November 12 for me its just a mid album- similar to the album cover it kinda falls flat and is dull and grey-ish there are some cute songs on there but also really boring moments
SlimyGhoul Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Nasty and Just Like Magic are great, but positions wasn't my fave from her. It was like Ariana on Ambien. Still very good!! Just not my fave.
Movimento Perpétuo Posted November 12 Posted November 12 It's not a bad album or not even her worst but I only use Safety Net
Bencharmer Posted November 16 Posted November 16 It was way better than Thank U Next !!!!! Sad people can't realise it.

The paradox of TUN is ok the lyrics are personal but the music sounds like a typical 2019 Spotify New Music Playlist.
Heart.me Posted November 16 Posted November 16 Her worst album, I only use 'pov', so thank god she was aware.
