Many were saying that under Trump, nothing could get worse, so we will have to wait and see. I hope you all were right, but I am doubtful. As I said many times before the election, if Trump gets elected, good luck everyone.:michael:

The trajectory was never going to be worse. Kamala would have still enabled Bibi's worst impulses by giving him every bomb asked for and providing diplomatic cover at the UN. She would still be pledging to invade The Hague in order to send a message to our allies that DO recognize rulings made by the ICC that America and Israel are above international law and can get away with whatever atrocities we want. And that they are in fact not atrocities when we do them, but necessary acts of justice.

The main difference is that it'll be carried out faster, which is "worse" in the sense that Palestinians who would want to make the impossible task of escaping their fate would have an even smaller window to do so. Not that Israel would let them out of their open-air prison anyway, but still. The outcome will largely be the same, just on a quicker timetable. The full ethnic cleansing of Gaza will be dealt with faster so that Israel can quickly shift their focus back to annexing the West Bank and committing more IDF resources to annexing Lebanon. Again, this would be the outcome regardless, as Israel always gets what they want. Both parties agree with and support the supremacy of Zionism to the fullest extent possible.
