prettyinpink940 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Having just turned 30, I'm seriously considering getting botox for the first time. I still have a lot of research to do, however, because I'm not sure what exactly it can accomplish. Have any of you gotten botox before? How often do you get it? I have read that every 3-4 months is very common.
Dante Silva Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I had it once in my ass. Not many people know it is a classy, safer alternative to a BBL. It does wear off between three to six months but if done right it can bring the boys to your yard. 1
Musicmajor Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I've had a rigorous skin care routine since I was younger and have gone to see estheticians for skin treatments. I am also on tretinoin (medical-grade retinol) and use sunscreen daily. All this to say, I don't see the need for Botox for me personally RIGHT NOW (I am 32). But when the day comes, when aging catches up to me, I will be getting Botox for sure. Plenty of my friends get it done and they look great. I think it's about finding the right Dr. to do your treatments that won't go overboard. It's easier than ever and cheaper than ever to get it done, so why not! I just want to wait as long as possible before having to commit to it every 6-8 months and spend the money.
Bad Decisions Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Not yet but I may eventually to see if it helps with my tmj

Mornings Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I got it in S Korea last summer because it was literally 24$ and I loved it. I got it around my hairline and crows feet and it snatched my **** up in such a natural way. I hate that it's 500$ here. The US is so far behind in so many ways
Velvet Night Posted November 5 Posted November 5 No not yet, but once I'm in my mid thirties I probably will get it.
Darius Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Yes! I'm 32 and got it for the first time last year and love the results. I opted for a more 'frozen' vs. natural look because I plan on only getting it 1-2x a year and letting it wear off The schedule I did last year that I'm going to repeat this year is: 1st treatment: Late Nov/early Dec 2nd treatment: Mid-Feb I'm getting it done during the winter months when I'm less likely to be out and about/social (I WFH, so it was easy for me), and look fresh-faced for Spring and Summer
Vespertine Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I've thought about it for my forehead, but every time I see another gay guy with obvious Botox in public, I get turned back off from the idea. I would still consider it to reduce forehead sweat in the summer (bane of my existence) but I would want to make sure I'm going to someone who knows how to address sweating without making me look uncanny.
CherryBay Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Nah I want to age gracefully once you start having Botox done you have to do it until your death 1 1
Odette Violet Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I don't go out in the sun that much but haven't and will never so

Johnny Jacobs Posted November 5 Posted November 5 No. It always looks bad and unnatural. Also call me old fashioned... But men shouldn't do it at all imo. 2 1

Khal Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Nope, and looking at my family tree, I will not be needing this
Selegend Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Yes when I turned 27 just because its what my friend (Who is a doctor) does for work and she wanted to do for me for free - like a gift, we went to a coffe after it. Queen gave me a beauty day!!!! i recommend it!!! Did it only on my forehead and i can tell u that it stopped my aging marks there for 4-5 months. If a person does it regularly when aging time comes they'll have way less marks. i dont have that much of aging marks since im 27 so i dont think its my time yet. but i think i will probably start doing it regurlarly when im 33, 34 or something. if u do it the right way its 100% natural guys and it prevents aging for real!! people just overdo it
