Jotham Posted November 3 Posted November 3 I heard that most of the mud-slinging was actually directed toward the local president and the PM because they were the ones that fled. 5

It was directed towards all of them. They turned a blind eye on the people until now- and only for press. The Queen got hit on her nose, they threw a stick at the PM- and he left right away... broke the windows of his car too. People are fed up. 3

Illyboy Posted November 3 Posted November 3 @Lil Mxnster Downvote all you want, you know I'm right. Tell me where having a president instead of a king would do anything to improve the situation In a parliamentary republic (which is what Spain would be if it was a republic) they have pretty much the same power (almost none) The different is a monarch is trained for all their life to do the job of being a monarch whereas a president can be literally anyone with any (or none) qualification. 3 1 3 3

You need to be voted by the people to be president. The president actually does stuff, incompetent or not, they rule the country. Monarchies are based on bloodline. How is that even comparable? The fact you made that dumb ass comparison says A LOT about you omg. 3 1 1
