BOOMBAYAH Posted November 2 Posted November 2 (edited) Imogen Heap is the most impactful female artist of the 21st century, and I stand by that. Her music has profoundly shaped the sound of modern alternative, pop, and hip-hop. How many artists can say they've been a pivotal influence on figures as diverse as Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift, Chloe x Halle and Pinkpantheress, to A$AP Rocky and Playboy Carti? Sazare Posted November 2 Posted November 2 I prefer Imogen's albums and Caroline's singles I've never been particularly enamored with either of Caroline's full albums even though the singles are almost always excellent. Her work with Chairlift was much more consistent tbh.
JoeAg Posted November 2 Posted November 2 both are wonderful, but Caroline is actually a slightly more well-rounded artist. Caroline's better both gorgeous voices and amazing songwriters, and they DO have markedly similar timbres… but you can really tell which one of them is taking better care of her voice and it's not Imogen lol 2
Archetype Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Imogen really changed the game, but I wouldn't say her albums are that great. I think Caroline is an all around better artist with a better discography. 1
Curaga Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Love both, but I love Imogen Heap's music more These albums are all so good QualiTEA 1
Princess Aurora Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Caroline has So You're Hurting My Feelings but Imogen Heap has Say Goodnight and Go so it's a tie.
