Popular Post Jotham Posted November 1 Popular Post Posted November 1 SparkNotes Summary: He felt disrespected by David's comments as they miss the context of why he got into sex work. Dan had been catfished and his nudes leaking had traumatized his life then. He was eventually able to reclaim this for himself and get into sex work. His career as a sex worker became so much more financially successful than his career in Disney, which he didn't financially benefit from. He says that David has blatantly disregard for his old cast members. Says that David and Selena threw the original show away "as if it were trash" while the other cast members were the ones who tried to keep the show alive after all these years. He still hopes that the new show is successful so that Wizards of Waverly Place can be brought to new audiences. 16
Popular Post GraceRandolph Posted November 1 Popular Post Posted November 1 No shade, but why does having your nudes leaked mean you have to start a career on OnlyFans. Obviously he can do it if he wants, but at this point doing sex work is his own choice, not something that was forced on him. 17 1

Popular Post hypnodemiluv Posted November 1 Popular Post Posted November 1 David started this without being provoked. Dan can do whatever he wants to do. Drag that conservative pieces of sh*t! 30 1 1 4
Trent W Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I think that he should just own it at this point I don't understand the correlation between his trauma and starting a career as a *****grapher, but this his story and well everyone is different He should expect those type of comments, sex work will probably never be a respected career. One of the reasons is that anyone can do it and it's a very easy path to take when you're young The easy path will never be respected or celebrated 4 1 2
Selegend Posted November 1 Posted November 1 i don't get it, does he want us to feel bad that he's a porn star now? dude... anyway. he's been thru terrible ****, but by he's choices to be a adult star he's gaining money now, he's hot and that's it. a current disney star laughed about the idea of him coming back. it's as simple as that, not that deep. the only problematic thing is the fact that the kids WERE AWARE and that David chose to laugh at Dan with the kids instead of just ignoring it since he was with kids (that would be the right thing to do). and not really a selena shade, he did correctly say that she's one of the most famous people on the planet. he's just mad that they didn't keep almost all of the cast 6
bielneira Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I understand his point of view, but I also understands David's. It's a children's TV show, so it's sensitive territory. 2

I wouldn't have otherwise!"... like, ok? I would have respected you even if it was your want 1 1

(but boo on david for what he did) Like.. by the time Wizards ended, Selena's career was bigger than the show. Did he expect her to attend every one of these conventions where d-list actors do overprized photo-ops with fans or..? 3 9

He could've played it cooler, but I understand his reaction 2
stoopidjenna Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I don't know about David Henrie, but wasn't Selena a guest on Wizards of Waverly Pod at one point? 1 1

Michael196 Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) The whole thing is stupid, but as I said in the other thread, coming for him when he's not harming anyone while championing a person with an actually harmful social media presence, still calling him a close friend, inviting him to return to the show and to attend the premiere is disgusting and Dan is allowed to **** on him as much as he wants... Always supportive! and the actor that played Jerry just didn't go to the premiere, he's on some episodes of the show. 1

And he didn't mention anything related to Dan's source of income. 1 3 1

He sounds bitter. Once the show ended, Selena and David moved on to other projects or priorities. Not everybody has to make a podcast about their show experience 2
