Draper. Posted November 1 Posted November 1 It lasted way more than it deserves. Congrats to Taylor. 1 5 1

Solaria Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Mediocre song from a mediocre album by a used to be great artist 4 1 1 6
Solaria Posted November 1 Posted November 1 TTPD is the most cult album I've ever seen. So many streams yet none of these songs will be remembered by the general public (and no, the Swifties are not the GP. They were last year, certainly not this year). This album truly tanked in terms of crossover appeal. It's a cultural bomb compared to Midnights. Taylor knows this though. TS12 will be her happy record. 7 5

I can specifically hear Heaven calling in the last 45 seconds of Fortnight 4 3 1
Klein Posted November 1 Posted November 1 And that's Karma.mp3 for choosing Fortnight as the lead single instead of Guilty As Sin, Down Bad or My Boy (or Florida!!! in my perfect fantasy world).

Ofcourse that album stood the test of the time. It has songs with good structure, with HOOKS, with a good balance of clever songwriting and pop sensibilities. The mushmash of thesauraus words and 'copy paste from my journal' songs of TTPD will never stand the test of time like Peak Now. Swifties need to stop dickriding everything Taylor puts out. Objectively, TTPD is one of her messiest and unfinished albums. It's okay to admit that! 1 4 3
Europe Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Honestly it did fine the real problem is that she didn't lift a finger for ICDIWABH or release some other single she felt passionate about. There was so much potential on the album.

It's okay to admit that! you are getting ahead of yourself i didnt even mention anything about quality, just because you dont like it, it doesnt mean others dont (theres no objectivity in this) anyway we will find out in a few years time, lover didnt do that well initially but look at where it is now Edited November 1 by hungrymuffin
UnusualBoy Posted November 1 Posted November 1 It's what she deserves for not pushing Down Bad as single. 1
Starkboy Posted November 1 Posted November 1 It's crazy it lasted this long considering how mid both song and album are. Her power I guess 1
ninetales Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Yet it holds the distinction of being the "most streamed song" in a single day on Spotify. What a tragic ending it got to face. 1
Digitalism Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Bad single choice tbh. I'm sure DB or GAS would have donde better. 3
