Illyboy Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) Release date: 24 October 2024 Label: Insterscope/Virgin Music Group Language: Spanish Judeline is an singer-songwriter from Cádiz province, Spain. She is known for her indie sound with a latin/andalusian twist. If you want to listen to something new and experimental that plays with southern vibes but in an intimate tone I recommend this album. Spoiler this is my first time making a thread like this so if i did sth wrong pls tell me so i can edit it Edited October 30 by Illyboy
Illyboy Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 A Discord mutual compared to it Rosalía's El Mal Querer (he said they have a similar thing going on) so if you liked that record you might like this as well. Personally I just finished listening and there are 0 skips imo.
Everyperfectsummer Posted October 30 Posted October 30 One of my favourite albums of 2024, mangata and luna roja are stunning 1
taemin Posted October 30 Posted October 30 Absolutely stunning album. I've been waiting for this one to come out since I discovered her almost 2 years ago and somehow it managed to exceed my expectations. One of my 2024 favorites. 2
Burqa Posted October 30 Posted October 30 i think the album would've benefited from incluiding the past singles or at least just tanger, zahara and canijo it's a bit too samey except for joropo and zarcillos de plata and the latter doesn't even fit at all imo it could've been great if it had a couple more uptempo tracks, it's too short and 1/4 of them are interludes lol
oceans Posted October 30 Posted October 30 like all said, i love the album, but it has like 2 or 3 songs that you can replay individually, and most of the album are interludes but big things are coming for her
Burqa Posted October 30 Posted October 30 ironically the interludes are some of my favorites i wish the closer had been reworked into a proper full song because it has the best melodies on the entire album 1
