Have you ever gotten sick on the day you were supposed to go on vacation? How did you deal with it ?

yes i was supposed to go on a trip but got chickenpox the day before  home i stayed!

Last Christmas I was going to stay in Jersey with a friend, living in Brooklyn at the time. Caught RSV that week right after my birthday, felt horrible. On Christmas Eve I booked an Uber from Bushwick to Jersey (could not sit on the train) and took a shot of dayquil + a shot of fireball and slept most of the ride there lol

Yes! And recently I got sick during my vacation 💁🏻‍♀️ And by "sick" i just mean a cold or a flu, nothing serious. So I mask up and move on with my life.

I got COVID one day before heading to Vegas for the first time in the middle of the summer

Yes lmaooo the night before I travelled to Seoul for a few days for my boyfriend's birthday earlier this year. It was only an hour flight but I was having 4 painkillers every 6 hours for the entire trip and could barely get through it, it was like flu. 
 

But Cowboy Carter dropped one of the days I was there so that was quite healing

Yes, I caught a cold right before the trip. Happened to me a few times, but I still continued with the trips. I just abused paracetamol, antihistamines, and multi-vitamins. I usually get better within 2-3 days.

I got COVID literally two days before I was supposed to fly to Canada with my friends for a Bachelorette. I ended up still going cuz no-one gives a f*k about covid anymore lol

I've gotten sick during a trip once. I ended up staying in my hotel room for two days. What a waste

This is why trip insurance exists. Never ever travelling abroad without it.

On December 31 last year I got Covid and we had to cancel our new year's trip because of it.

No. I got sick on the last day of my vacation years ago. I was fine the whole week, and then the very last day when we were ready to leave, I ended up with a fever and a sore throat and ended catching a bad cold.
