What is this? You don't suddenly wake up in your 40s and get aroused for a person of the same (or opposite) sex. Being in denial and suppressing your desires your whole life should not be equated to coming out later in life.

It shouldn't, but it happens. Or some people (i.e. my boyfriend) simply don't realize the full scope of their desires until later in life. Sexuality isn't always black and white

We won't know he likes until we see a long term relationship.  If he is in a relationship long term with women, he prefers women. It is that simple.

That's my whole point. Though there are cases where it takes that one person to actually make you realize. A lot of people don't even know themselves. That's my point.
