RunUpDoneUp Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Between the gays patting themselves on the back for "clocking" him and the straight women in denial, this moment was quite amusing. Uh, good luck on whatever he's gonna do after he does his homework. Nothing is more fulfilling than living in your truth. 2
Da Vinci Posted November 1 Posted November 1 I think everyone has completely forgotten that his peers used to be those cringy forgotten fad viners like Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier so imagine the kind of environment he grew up in during his teens Not to mention his whole career being marketed as "cute boy with a guitar" appealing to young women, he basically tried to live up to that since he got famous That being said, he could be 100% straight and that's okay too! 4 1
genio Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Gays coming for his sexuality are annoying, it's always been a thing surrounding him. Anyways, there is no rush in figuring things out, so Shawn shouldn't worry about a single thing. 5
every1blinks Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Shocked that people don't realize that sexuality is a journey that looks different for everyone and isn't tied to age at all… 9 1
Bencharmer Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Honestly i always thought the comments online about his sexuality were so annoying. Even homophobic people were nicer to Shawn overall.... I have yet to understand how people promote freedom to be whatever you want and at the same time try to spot any gay signs on people.
UnusualBoy Posted November 1 Posted November 1 The whole speculation about this sexuality is so sad, leave him alone. You would think that as gay some of you would understand the struggle but no. 6
Temporal Posted November 2 Posted November 2 That was tough to watch, he clearly agonized over this He's been in the ******* ringer over his sexuality for a while now, and while I'm glad that he came to this realization in his own time, I can't help but think that if he had just said this a few years ago instead of insisting he was 100% straight that people would've piped down about it. 1
Sometimes James Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Sia always ahead of her time when she made this one
KingWitch Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Kii the way he baited the gays before releasing a new song and ya'll fell for it 2 1

I notice that gay men think this way about straight men's sexuality but never their own. Personally, I feel like you should be sure of your sexuality by 15, unless you're bi. Late in life homosexuals never makes sense to me unless the person is asexual. I say that because I know for a fact I will never wake up attracted to women. Edited November 3 by El Nino 3

It's pretty easy to know what you're into sexually if you're a man. You either get hard or you don't. I tried to watch lots of straight porn as a teen to make myself straight because I was so distraught about the fact that was into men, I didn't want to be gay. I was always as flaccid as a beached jellyfish. But emotional attraction is different. Maybe that's what Shawn is talking about? Whatever it is, it must be really tough to go through it with the whole world hyper-analyzing you. 1

Or he's a slightly effeminate straight guy with an audience that has told him since he was essentially a teenager that he can't possibly be straight and called any girl he's been with a hired beard.
RunBoyRun Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Just bi-curious at this point it seems. 1 hour ago, Dante said: what is there to figure out at his ripe age. People sometimes don't realize they're bisexual or even gay until their 40's. What are you on about? 2
ChooseyLover Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) What is there to talk about, really? This is tired. Didn't care about his sexuality years ago and I won't care now. It's his business. I do understand he wants to share this with the world for some reason, it's important to him, and good for him for gradually coming to terms with it, but like I said, it's so tired. And I don't think he owes this to the public after so many years of basically being hounded. Edited November 3 by ChooseyLover

Don Corleone Posted November 4 Posted November 4 All this mess and for what? A guy who, even if he's gay, would never in a million years sleep with you? I kinda wish he came out and then found a girlfriend, and they both have a baby, and all that within a year. People would lose their ****.

Squall Posted November 4 Posted November 4 (edited) I feel bad for him, the way ATRL & Twitter have been harassing him with his sexuality is shocking and not normal. Not sure what they thought they had to gain from him being gay, it's not like he was ever going to touch them. It also had nothing to do with his work. Edited November 4 by Squall
