Said he didn't like the global release date and wanted to do it his way on Monday so people would pay more attention when sitting down to listen because people tend to just listen more passively on the weekend. He's kinda not wrong but I don't think the whole release date should change.

I think his rollout and reasoning for the Monday release date is genius. Tuesday releases should be the industry standard again, releasing albums right before the weekend is so stupid. Just bc Beyonce did it doesn't mean everyone else needed to jump on board
