Was Radical Optimism for the arts not the charts?

I woke up this morning, Training Season was stuck in my head for some reason. Decided to give the album a play for the first time in some months and I had a religious experience to it…

End Of An Era to Whatcha Doing, a perfect five track run. A perfect closer with Happy for You…

What do you think? Did talent win or lose? Did it deserve better?

No and we need to stop pushing it as such. We all know y'all only do that because it's by Dua Lipa.

No, actually, it's so 'made for the charts' it lacks personality and is bland in comparison to FN. FN was for the charts, too, but it was for the art first. It was a concept, it had a vision. The success was a result of the art. RO was just made to chart but it doesn't as a result (although some songs deserved success and Happy For You is a career highlight)

It deserved better, the full album is a masterpiece.

For neither :mazen:

Nah, it was at some middle point, that's why it received mixed reviews and I agree with them. The songs are good, enjoyable, but they aren't smashes nor masterpieces

Honestly even if the whole album is quite lackluster, GODini and Traning Smash were worth it :clap3:

It's the opposite it was made for the chart only, the bubbling under one.
