More specifically, you're talking about streaming ratios.

Gaga having a more even geographical distribution of listeners is distinct from being a globally bigger artist.

Streaming Numbers Ratios is a lot more accurate than tour.

Cause Streaming is accessible almost everywhere.. unlike limited Tour Dates.. i mean if we're gonna use Touring then Lady Gaga is bigger than Beyonce in Africa since Gaga already toured South Africa?

I gave the song like ten streams yesterday trying to listen and understand why people liked it :deadbanana4:

Thats ten less she'll have tomorrow so this might be a JFAD trajectory

Why not, Beyonce BOMBED harder than ARTPOP with CC.  No one is safe in ATRL

:ryan3:

Gaga promoted the hell out of Artpop so no it didn't. It didn't even debut with more than CC. Beyoncé has to do nothing with her album so you can prop up Artpop? Oh it's not good for Gaga fans

And she IS currently the female artist with the most monthly listeners + she's inside the top 10 most streamed artists daily, so...

but why aren't her  108M+ monthly listeners streaming her new single?
Almost as if it's a useless metric.

Sure, but we should also acknowledge that TEXAS HOLD 'EM debuted at #4 on the same Spotify chart with slightly less streams than this one that debuted at #12 with a bit more streams, and the reason is that TEXAS HOLD 'EM's first day of streaming was a Monday, not a Friday, when streams altogether are considerably less.

Also Beyonce released two songs together which cannablized her streams especially from her dedicated stans who were trying to keep both songs afloat.

How many streams has Yes and? And Fortnight? We need this comparison

Yes and? 11.

Fornight is not a solo song. According to ATRL, features don't count or something.

Not even 5% of her monthly listeners streamed it

Even worse when you take into account the super fans probably streamed it all day. Did even 1% stream?

And streaming number ratios are not actual streaming numbers, but you know that.

Then why doesn't every artist ever reach 100M+ monthly listeners? :michael:

also, the most important thing, the song will still chart on its second day. not everyone can do that nowadays.

If anything this really proves, once again, that DWAS's success is not because of her. If the GP consumed that song for her then her lead single would've gotten way more hype. #ThankYouBruno indeed.

We'll see if some payola kicks in in the following days but those first day numbers are absolutely not good no matter what excuses the Liddos come up with. Old singles like Espresso and Good Luck Babe had more streams :rip:

These are the filtered numbers, so no, it doesnt have super fans streaming it all day. Unless they have streaming farms like other girlies do, but Little Monsters are lazy so...

YES.. the point is trying to use Gaga's ~20% of total numbers to ~50% of Beyonce's total numbers to say Bey & Gaga in 2024 arent comparable is fvnny

JFAD disappointed its core fanbase while this one didn't so I doubt it.

We all know how much Spotify pushed Taylor like hell with her last 2 albums, not invalidating her success, but Fortnight isnt some monumental hit.

tolerate it - 4.7M (folk album track from Evermore, the album before those "2 Spotify pushed albums")

Disease - 4.4M (lead single from highly anticipated LG7, over 100 million spotify listeners) :rip:
