Playlists decreasing popularity for the last few years, but at the same time being a super expensive tool that can save flop songs, but at the same time Spotify no longer gives a **** about them, but at the same time some artists never reach promoted playlist because of budget, but at the same time relatively small artists being on the playlist but at the same time playlists are controlled by big labels.

The amount of contradictory talking about playlists = Nobody has a clue about how playlists work, what degree of a song's success depends on them, or why some songs are added but some others are not, or who and how a song placement is decided, yet everybody is using them to support a narrative in a sense or the contrary, and sometimes in this thread, to support contradictory points in the same f post lmao.

 

Talking about charts is fine, but pretending you know how certain things work is A CHOICE.
