I'm going to keep it cute because I like Taylor, but the very things you just said about this song and Gaga in general are what most people here say about your fave's music.  Let's not pretend you didn't already know that.  If the song isn't for you, then fine, but maybe don't use criticism for another artist's music that would also apply to your fave (who actually loves and respects Gaga, not some surface level Ice Spice scenario).

BM was viral becuz of Wednesday. Even then BM didn't have a very high peak on the charts.

 

Disease doesn't sound like anything in the Top 40 right now, so their point still stands. Plus, Disease IS Gaga's sound, critics praised even praised for "going back to her roots".
