How we ended up here having a Bey vs Gaga? Like chill y'all…I can understand the thing with Katy Perry more so that when it was revealed that Gaga will release the same year my Twitter was full of Katykats saying things like "We're gonna end her like in 2013" and staff like that…other than that every other Stan beef is nonsense…you can't even compare artists like Taylor, Beyoncé, Gaga…completely different music style and audience. And I don't know why some Beyhive members got offended over the fact that Disease did same numbers as Texas…like that's good…they are both Queens on their genre and honestly those artists that they're making real albums and real songs not 2mins TikTok songs should get applauded for their authenticity in making music they like and not for the charts.

There wasn't  this huge of a hate train when DWAS debuted with the same amount of streams. Disease debuted with the same, and suddenly  4.5M streams is some sort of embarrassment? A 12 year old can understand that.
 

That's why we're bringing DWAS up, no one is saying "Disease debuted similarly to DWAS so it's going to also smash and get 10M daily" like seriously go a brain if you think anyone is mentioning DWAS cus we think it's going to be as successful as that  No, we're just baffled how it's being dragged this much when songs like DWAS and Texas debuted with the same and were left unscathed.

Dragging my own fave how exactly? If you're referring to her songwriting, she was making country classics like Cold as You at 14 years old and Dear John by 20, there's just no comparison between the two. 

 

And please drop the same old variants shite, there's maybe... 1-2k swifties out of millions buying those, but the chart greed narrative must prevail I suppose.

 

Also idc about their presumed "friendship" or whatever, Taylor is known to support like any artist, including ******* Ice Spice. She's just kind.

I disagree. I believe this song sounds more like "standard" Gaga and people will love it in the long run (it is growing on me too). Stupid Love is just not that good of a song. 

 

The debut numbers are fine, despite of the nonsense people claim here, so it already has a promising start. It needs to remain stable over the weekend and then rise on Monday and during the week. 

 

I believe the video will help to create a lot of useful buzz though, so I don't get why she isn't dropping it during this weekend. She should use all the hype the song is currently getting and the video will help people talk about the song (if it's good and I believe it is).
